夏はタイコの季節！
ドラムサークル広島は
あちらこちらへと、大忙しです！！
It has been very HOT in Japan everyday!
How are you?
It is a "drum season" in summer!!!
I go to here and there to facilitate drum circle.
８月１日は島根県出雲市で
小学校の音楽の先生対象の
ドラムサークルを行いました。
昨年に続き２回目！
I went to Izumo-city, Shimane pref on August 1st
to facilitate drum circle.
Elementary school music teachers joined
this drum circle.
参加された先生方には
ファシリテーター体験もしていただきました。
僕がファシリテーターを始めたころは、
円の真ん中に入るのがとても怖かったのですが、
先生方はどなたも、
「気持ち良かった！」
とのこと・・・ さすがです！

The teachers not only played the drum
but also tried facilitator.
When I started drum circle,
I was scared to go into the center of the circle.
But almost all teachers said
"It was comfortable!!!"
I was surprised.
８月３日は東広島の高屋でドラムサークル！
元気な子供たち１９人が参加してくれました。
I enjoyed drum circle at Takaya Higashi-Hiroshima
on August 3rd.
19 children joined this event.
ドラムを叩く前に子供たちは
夏野菜のカレーを作り、
そのあと、ドラムサークルを楽しみます。
The children cooked curry with summer vegetables
before playing the drum.
リズムゲームの時には、
僕が叩くタイミングを示す格好が、
へんてこなダンスのように見えたようで
子供たちは大笑い！！！
When we were enjoying rhythm game,
children laughed at me because my figure
I showed the timing when they need to play
was a strange dancer.
タイコを叩いた後はみんなでカレーを食べます。
子供たちが一生懸命作ってくれたカレーは
とってもおいしかった～！
We ate curry after we played the drums.
The curry children made was really delicious!!!
８月１０日は山口県岩国市でドラムサークル！
『ドラムでアロハ』と名付けられたこのイベントは、
ドラムで非言語コミュニケーションを、
そして、その後にドラムサークルの体験を
言葉で表してみようという、
哲学対話とのコラボレーションで、
江田島を拠点にさまざまな場所で活動する
「ELCAP」が主催するイベントです。
I went to Iwakuni Yamaguchi preaf
to facilitate drum circle on August 10th.
The event named "Drum de Aloha" was organized
by "ELCAP" which is acting variou places
based Etajima- island.
The contents of this event was that
we communicated without language
when we play the drum and we communicated
by using language how we were feeling
after drum circle.
参加してくれた７人の子供たちは
とにかく、叩く叩く（笑）
最初のうちはバラバラだったリズムも
ひとしきり叩き、ゲームをしたりするうちに
少しずつアンサンブルになっていきます。
Seven children who joined drum circle hit the drum!
Hit and hit and hit, lol!!!
The rhythm we played at first was disconnected.
But our rhythm gradually became rhythm ensemble
after we enjoyed rhythm games and play the drum.
哲学対話の時には、
子供も大人も一緒に対話していきます。
ただふざけながら叩いていたように見えていた子供たちは、
ドラムサークルの時にどんなことが起き、
自分がどう感じたか、ということを
言葉で伝えてくれ、大人たちを驚かせてくれました。
When the time of philosophical dialogue,
children and adults together made conversation.
The children who looked only played the drum facetiously
told us what was happning when we were playing the drum
and how they were feeling at that time by using languages.
We adults were surprised!!!
いろんな人の意見を聞いた後は、
アンコールにお応えして、もう一度ドラムサークル！
この２回目のドラムサークルは先ほどとは全然違って、
最初から素晴らしいリズム音楽が奏でられました。
後半は自然に「ハートビート」と呼ばれる
リズム音楽に変わっていき、
子供たちがみんなをリードしていく場面も・・・
We enjoyed drum circle after we listened to others opinion.
This time drum circle was AWESOME!
Because it was really in harmony!!!
There rhythm gradually changed to "Hart Beat".
The rhythm was sometimes leaded by children.
「音楽を通して自己表現をし、
そのあとに対話を通して自己と向き合う。
こういったやり取りが子供たちの成長にとって
大変意義のあることだと思います。」
岩国会場の主催者のお一人が
このようなことを言ってらっしゃいました。
みんなで対話した後のドラムサークルで
すでにみんな大きく成長していた、
そんなことを思わせる、
素晴らしいイベントでした。
"Children express themselves through music.
After that, they face themselves through dialog.
These are really important for children to grow."
One of the event organizer said.
When we enjoyed second time drum circle,
I thought they had already grew up bigger.
It was a really wonderful event!!!
